I was wondering how many players in baseball are using PED's and what a players chances are that don't use them at some point.
I wish they could form a Steroid league and a non steroid league.
My question is if they banned you for life from baseball first time offense, would that stop most of the PED use? |

They're being used EVERYWHERE. At the MLB and NFL level they are now using synthetics that avoid detection. Synthetics and HGH are being used in high school and NCAA. Rather than performance, specially in an adolescent, is the life long damage they cause to the body. Unfortunately, the allure is valid. A HS kid taking certain steriods can go from a 250ft hitter to a 350+ hitter in a matter of weeks. It's not just the muscle mass. The ball looks bigger, the game slows down, the bat gets quicker, and so on. Hard to put that down.. |

Sports is not the only area in life people looking for an edge.......it's everywhere.........question is the hairy edge of unethical and illegal being balanced. Slippery slope for those going down the path and once you start almost impossible to stop. |

i saw an article the other day saying female gymnast are using steroids, Almost sounds like to compete at a high level of anything. Track, Football whatever the sport is a good majority are using some type of something. Just sux for those trying to do it the right way. I read something that said 80% of MLB players are using at some time but could be during off season. I think a ban for life might stop some but they just need better testing. |
