Based on what I saw at the Dizzy Dean State tournament at Ft. Oglethorpe, many of those teams could compete with the South Atlanta travel teams. Very unfortunate that we will not get that opportunity to see that two groups compete. Sandy Plains Cougars were very impressive as they went undefeated to win the State Championship against a solid Winston team.

What teams are heading to Souothhaven to compete in the Dizzy Dean World Series? As in previous years and other age groups, I think the teams competing in the GA State tournament will be the same competing for the championship in Mississippi.

Good Luck to all teams.
