Just wanted to hear some honest opinions on how much the BBCOR bats will affect the players moving up to 14u? I feel like we have done pretty well keeping up with the "early bloomers" so far. My son hasn't quite hit that growth spurt and maturity level that some of these monster kids have, but he still holds his own with them. I am wondering if this is really going to show up when they start swinging the BBCOR bats. He has swung a BBCOR in middle school and for the most part he is comfortable with it. He has always hit for power and average, but I wonder if the power numbers will disappear until he hits that growth spurt. Any thoughts?
