Im curious at what age coaches start batting 9 and playing 9 and using subs. Is this a common practice in the younger age groups or is this something that starts around 13u or 14u? 9,10,11,12u seems a little young to bench a kid for half or all of the game. Should coaches have some dignity and at least bat their lineup or play for the win? This is my 4th time through this age group and it appears im getting more lineup cards from opposing coaches only batting 9. This rarely happen 9 years ago when i came through 10u with my oldest son. Now im seeing it every tournament.
