We are looking for a paid coach for a 14U team in Roswell.
Coaching pitching experience along with 3+ years coaching in general preferred.
Set the practice agenda; we will have 2-3 experienced coaches who will help run the drills.
Set the lineup and position kids during the Fall and Spring Season.
Attend games on weekend; of course they can take a weekend or two off during the season.
Last year we played 5 games in the Fall and 61 in the Spring.
Time:
Maybe some in the Fall - TBD based on availability of coach
We will condition and work on fundamentals during the fall 2-3 times a week and play a couple of Sunday only tournaments. We encourage kids to play multiple sports.
Jan - March we go indoors for pitching and hitting for roughly 10 weeks - once a week for 2 hours, more if needed. Usually on Monday.
Feb. We begin outdoor practices - Usually Tues, Thursday and Saturday OR Sunday. Weekdays are 2 hours in the evening. Weekends 2-4 hours in the afternoon.
March - June - practice usually twice a week on the field. Some scrimmages are scheduled during the week as well but take the place of practice time.
Tournaments - 3 on 1 off each month so families can plan vacations, etc. that one weekend a month when we are off.
We practice less than a mile off of Canton Street on Woodstock road at Roswell Area Park.
We'd love candidates to set a practice plan and then run it as the "interview" process.
