So we have our first scrimmage of the season scheduled for this afternoon.......I know its just a practice game, but still. It would be the first time seeing our new team on the field, in positions, making plays, hitting opposing pitching etc....
And its monsooooning outside
Go figure......I hope this isn't one of those El Nino years where we have lots of rain, but ONLY on the weekends when we want to be playing ball!!
OK, Rant over..I feel better now

Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day!!
We were in a tourney last night. We were looking good to play for the championship when Mother Nature decided it would be a good time for a light show followed by free showers for everyone. Oh well, at least we were home before midnight. |
