Glad to see there is a new forum for kids that are homeschooled/alternative education baseball players. It's a small group; however, it is a group that has very few options due to the route they have taken with their education.

Premier Baseball is proud to announce our HOME SCHOOLED/ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION TRAINING and Lesson Series.

This training program allows children who are home schooled or committed to an alternative education program, access to the same quality instructors, at a discount for non-traditional times during the day. Typically most facilities are closed during the day due to lack of traffic, but Premier believes that group centric training during off hours can be very beneficial for athletes that are schooled at home. Our program is based on 2-3 athletes being trained at one time, during our down time. For more information please contact Eric Ruben at 470-263-4060 to inquire about pitching, hitting and fielding program offered at Premier.

You should check out the Gwinnett Barons. http://www.gobarons.org/
It is sad that we don't have the Tim Tebow Act in GA. Many are afraid this would make home school kids "recruited" to certain schools. For one, that is already happening....and we all know the high schools that do it. Second, if they say you can only play for the school district in which you live, it would solve the problem.

It's sad that Ga trails both Alabama and Florida by not having the "Tim Tebow" rule. Equally sad that our metro Atlanta public school systems do not offer programs to assist students with many learning disabilities. So our choices to educate our children are reduced to home school programs or private school programs with limited access to athletics. So any help with who offers high level baseball programs that would be the equivalent of a high majors travel team or a "Lambert", "Lovett", "Lassiter" type of program would greatly be appreciated.
