My question is if a boy is automatically ejected from a game for running over a catcher, whose responsibility is it to keep up with the automatic out since they did not have a replacement player.

Is the appeal of the lineup made after the next player completes his at bat? (This is normally the case when we're not dealing with an ejection.) Or is the appeal / comment made at such time as the ejected player's turn at bat is to occur?
