Is the Silly Season officially over? Boards have gone quiet and it looks like the roughly 100 or more teams (still shaking my head) are being finalized.

Maybe it's because of back to school or other sports starting but curious to hear thoughts from others on their experiences.

We went to a few big organization tryouts and a handful of smaller workouts. Paid for some, not for others and it was a learning curve.

Received a few offers as well as a few "Thanks for coming out". My son accepted an offer on a team we believe is the best fit for him at this age. He may have sacrificed some trophies by turning down the brand name teams 1 & 2 but he's excited to be part of this new team focusing on development. More importantly, after each workout with this team he said, "That was fun!"

So here we go.....
