We are moving our 7u team into 8u kid pitch for the spring. I've read through the USSSA rule book but am looking for a little clarification. There is a section in the rule book for kid pitch/hybrid where if a batter receives 4 balls a coach is allowed to throw 3 pitches. Does all USSSA kid pitch operate this way or is there an 8u kid pitch division that basically plays normal baseball rules? I just want to know exactly what to prepare for. Thanks for the help.
