I'm trying to decide between the Combat Portent G3 or the Demarini CF7. My son has always swung a drop 10 so I'll probably go with a 29/19. Any thoughts on which bat is better? Or should I consider another brand or model? Trying to get a 2015 bat to keep the price reasonable.

I would suggest a weekday evening, maybe an hour before closing. There will be a LOT of PG visitors in town over the next few weekends and they have all been told that Better Baseball is the equivalent of a candy store for big kid baseball players.

That is a good idea. I love that store in Marietta, but it is always so busy on the weekends. Might be worth making the hike one evening.

Have you gone to better baseball and done the hittrax thing? I took my son there a few months ago and long story short, the bat we were SURE would be his best bet turned out to be the one he swung the worst. $20 to swing every bat in the store with no pressure to buy, although if you do they take the cost of the hittrax off your bat price. Anyway, it was worth it for us, might want to consider it.
