There's a lot of chest pounding going on down in 11U. Does pre-puberty baseball matter much when it comes to making the High School team?

A large High School Hoops Coach told me only 3 of his Varsity players ever played travel basketball. I wonder if that's true of baseball?

I've run USSSA player history's on High School baseball players who get mentioned in the newspapers, and I'm shocked how few can be found as ever playing USSSA. I've entered every possible variation of their names, or even search last names only scrolling down hundreds of players only to come up empty.

I think a lot of us in 11U are placing way too much emphasis on a snapshot in time, rather than understanding there's a whole movie to follow, and are ignoring human development.

What's the real story?
