Homeruns For Hope
Date: June 30,2018
Location: Hobgood Baseball Park, Woodstock Ga
Age group: 8U Coach Pitch Allstars
Games: 2 games guaranteed, weather permitting
Entry Fee: $200.00
Gate Fee prices: Daily pass: $5.00 (per person over 12), kids 12 and under are FREE
Format:
12 teams
4 pools of 3
2 pool play games
Pool winners will advance to playoff bracket
Winner will receive tshirts for each player and coach and a TEAM party to Stars and Strikes in Woodstock, Ga

About tournament host: 10 year William.
In May of 2015 William was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 8. In June of that same year, he had surgery to remove the tumor and with that he and his family had to stay in Eggleston and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta for an extended amount of time. During that time of Williams stay in the hospital, he remembers it being hard on he and his family. Since Williams recovery, he has wanted to give back to the childrens hospitals in some way to help make a positive impact and maybe help other kids that have to go through similar things that he did.
William has been chosen by Kids Boost to do just that! Kids Boost is a non profit organization that helps kids give back to the community in a way that makes their hearts happy. William has chosen to put together a baseball tournament for an organization called Hello Hope. This is a non profit charity that offers a little extra love, care and happiness to those families during their hospital stay. Hello Hope provides meals and goodies, activities, free parking days and even emotional support.(https://hellohope.com)
William is hosting a baseball tournament on June 30,2018 in honor of Hello Hope and all the children in Eggleston and Scottish Rite through Kids Boost.
He is planning a fun filled day of family events as well as a baseball tournament in hopes to raise money for Hello Hope. Williams wish is for this baseball tournament, Homeruns for Hope to raise money for Hello Hope and Kids Boost.
