Son is in search for new 13u team for Fall 2018. AAA/major level team. Currently committed through Cooperstown in June. Current team will likely dissolve or change significantly. Talks are currently occurring on the changes...Interested in seeing what options are out there in the Forsyth/Cherokee/Cobb/Fulton areas...
Pitcher/SS(infield)/outfield-great arm, versatile player! Has been lead off through 4 hitter.

The Georgia Stars Baseball Academy 13u Team for the 2018-2019 Season, non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Norcross, GA, is an organization dedicated to the development of young men through the game of baseball. The mission of our organization is for our players to attain an athletic or academic scholarship to play baseball in college. We are actively evaluating players from age 13u for the 2018-2019 season. Your son can expect:
A. Player Development- teaching fundamentals of the game Infield & Outfield.
B. Training- Position and group training on all aspects of the game for 10 months of our season.
c. Competition- Playing competitive tournaments that assist the development of your sons game in the Atlanta Metro areas.
d. Professional Coaching Staff - Coaches who have played the game in College and beyond.
All Player fees are refundable as we are a 501(c)3 public charity.

The East Side Mavericks are a professionally Coached team out of East Cobb. We have great facilities and with our new coach (Rick Elder) we will be providing top notch development and playing AAA/Major Level tournaments

13u East Side Mavericks will be holding open tryouts for the Fall/Spring 2018-19 season.
We are looking for players and parents that will fit into a fun team culture where we enjoy each other. Players are expected to be committed to a team first culture and to putting in the effort for the development of themselves. The program and player development will rival any major academy.

Dates and Time:
Arrive 30 minutes before each start time
Monday July 23rd 2018 7:00PM – 9:00PM
Make up – Wednesday July 25th 2018 7:00PM – 9:00PM
Make up – Saturday July 28th 2018 4:00PM – 6:00PM
All players will be evaluated for general baseball skills including hitting, throwing, fielding, running with only players desiring to play as a pitcher or catcher will be evaluated for these skills.
The 13u Mavericks will play AAA tournaments and look to move up as development continues
We will play a limited Fall schedule to allow players to players the opportunity to play other sports. We will have winter speed & agility workouts along with indoor workouts, followed by a heavy Spring schedule competing at the AAA level. We will have an end of season tournament trip.
We have a paid coach to head up player development and player decisions. Our paid coach is
Rick Elder. Rick was a 1st round pick by the Baltimore Orioles in 1998 and spent 8 years in professional baseball, 4 years he spent with the Orioles and was picked up in the December 2002 rule 5-Draft by the Cleveland Indians where he spent the remainder of his professional playing career. After his playing days, Rick got into Coaching as a player/coach for the Fullerton Flyers, where he had the opportunity the learn from Greats like Gary Templeton, Tony Gwynn, Gary Carter and Ricky Henderson. After developing a philosophy, he found that he had a knack for developing players of all ages and ability levels into better ball players. Most recently, Rick was the Assistant Coach and Hitting Coordinator for Sprayberry High School.

13U Georgia Octane is looking for 1-2 players to complete our final roster for the 2018-19 season. We will practice out of Midway Park in Forsyth County and play 2-3 tournaments in the fall and 10 in the spring. We have our own 7000 sf indoor baseball facility that is exclusive to Georgia Octane teams. All teams are guaranteed indoor cage time year round.
