Midway Wolverines 9U – Navy will be holding tryouts for Fall 18/Spring 2019.
Thursday June 14th
Time: 6:30 - 8:00pm
Midway Park Field 6
5100 Post Rd, Cumming, GA 30040
No cost tryout. Please arrive 15 minutes early to warm up.
This team will be coached by former Covenant Christian HS and Faulkner University player who will NOT HAVE A KID ON THE TEAM. Assistant coaches with kids on the team will place the best interest of the team first, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The focus of this team is player development. Focusing on the fundamentals of the game as there is a lot to learn transitioning from 8U to 9U. This team will also place a large focus on character building. “Your athleticism is only temporary, but your character, the type of person you are, lasts forever.” This is an opportunity based system, provided the desire is there. Effort and attitude will have large bearing on where/how much kids play.
On-field practices will be at Midway Park during the Fall and
Spring. Winter indoor practices will be in Cumming, Hitters Park, Redi Road.
For parents, the goal of this team is to provide your child with the best training and development while keeping cost down. We also have the desire to maintain a tight Midway community.

We had a great turnout last night! Thanks to everybody for coming out. Due to the large number of kids that couldn't make it, and wanting to get a second look at some of the boys that did, we will have another round on Tuesday, June 19th at Midway, 6-7pm.
