The Wills Park Titans are looking forward to continuing the strong Wills Park travel baseball tradition with a competitive 13U travel team for the 2011 Spring Season. Tryouts will be held on July 24th at 1:00pm at Wills Park (Alpharetta) with a possible second tryout. Overall focus will be on player development to prepare your player for the next level of baseball. Plans include playing/practicing on a new state-of-the-art artificial turf field in 2011 to improve quality of play and minimize rain impact on play/practice time. Professional instruction will be included throughout the season in targeted developmental areas. The coaching staff has an established track record with many seasons of successful travel baseball coaching experience.
We encourage participation in all youth sports. Some limited fall instruction is planned this year (around football/fall sports) with formal indoor practices beginning in mid January. We will work around basketball as possible through February. Games will start in late February with the first tournament in March and wrap up with a season-ending travel tournament in mid to late June.
