Georgia Renegades Baseball (12U) will be holding tryouts starting the weekend of June 29th. Some details about our organization:
• We are focused on player development with the goal of improving your son to play at the high school level. All of our coaches are former college baseball players with multiple years experience in coaching youth athletics.
• We believe your son should be multi-sport focused until high school. As such, we practice lighter in the fall as many of our players also play football, basketball, lacrosse, etc.
• We are a baseball family that takes care of our players and family members. It is very important that players and parents on our team are committed to each other on the field as well as off the field in baseball and in life.
• We have some of the lowest costs of any travel team in the area (less than $750/year) which includes 3 uniforms (top, pants, belt, socks, hat) and 10-12 tournaments for both seasons, along with multiple practice fields and workout costs at DBats in Johns Creek.
• We practice and play out of Suwanee/Johns Creek/Cumming.
• We intend to go to Cooperstown in the summer of 2019, if all players and parents are committed to going.
Our tryout schedule will be as follows:
July 1st Grand Cascades Baseball Field (Suwanee) 4:00 – 5:00 PM
July 7th Grand Cascades Baseball Field (Suwanee) 2:00 – 3:00 PM
July 8th Grand Cascades Baseball Field (Suwanee) 2:00 – 3:00 PM
July 15th Grand Cascades Baseball Field (Suwanee) 2:00 – 3:00 PM
July 22nd Grand Cascades Baseball Field (Suwanee) 2:00 – 3:00 PM
There is no fee for our tryouts but we would ask that you reserve your time with us prior to a tryout date.
If your son cannot make a tryout date, we can also schedule a private tryout at your convenience.
