STaF Athletics will have two 10u major league teams next year. The Head Coach of one team will be Chris Stafford and Scott Johnson will be the Head Coach of the he other team. They will not be a A/B team. Both teams will be A teams. (21 player all together). All players will practice together at North Cobb Christian Baseball and Softball fields. NCC will have a new Astro Turfed field for the spring of 2019. NCC also has an indoor hitting facility. The two “Equal” Major teams will allow us to have more competitive practices. The best way to learn to play baseball is to play! Rain outs kill progress but with two teams we will be able to intersquad weekly.
At STaF-Athletics we offer a great baseball education for a fraction of the cost of the other programs because our sons are in the program and we have other jobs. Our plan is to surround our boys with the best baseball coaches and baseball players. Big plus of our program is our professional coaching backgrounds will allow us to coach all of the kids through High School. We are still looking for a few legit 10u major league players to fill out our roster.

Chris Stafford: During coach Stafford’s 9 years at North Cobb Christian the Eagles won 2 state championships and 5 region championships. Named GA Dugout Club Coach of The Year in 2006, GISA Coach of the Year in 2002, 2006, and Region Coach of the Year in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008.
In 7 years with the Blue Devils Coach Stafford was named Region Coach of The Year 2015. The Blue Devil made 3 consecutive trips to AAAAAA State Playoffs in 2013, 2014, 2015. Coach Stafford coached 2 first round draft picks. Chevez Clarke Drafted in 2010 and Dansby Swanson the 1st overall pick in the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.
Scott Johnson: Pensacola Sports Association Subway East All-Star Head Coach, 2012 NWF Daily News Big School Coach of the Year, 2011 District 1-4A Coach of the Year, 2002 Daily Commercial-All Area Coach of the Year, LBWCC Recruiting coordinator/Hitting coach 6 years, 1998 NJCAA Alabama State runners-up and lead the Nation in team Batting Average. Coach Johnson has 22 years of High school coaching experience and 6 years of College coaching experience. He has coaches 28 players that were taken in the MLB draft.

Jimmy Keane: Former College Player at West Georgia and Present North Cobb Christian School Head Baseball Coach
Jeremy Morris: Lassiter High Pitching Coach for 9 year
Michael Massi: Middle Infielder at Mercer University and Minor League player in the Saint Louis Cardinals Organization
Primary Facilities: North Cobb Christain School Baseball/Softball/Indoor Facility and Marietta High School Softball and Indoor Facility.
