Double PLAYS Baseball will be holding open tryouts for its 12U travel baseball team. Tryouts will be held July 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Benjamin E. Mays High School, 3450 Benjamin E Mays Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30331. Formerly competing as The Club Red (JW), this has been a highly competitive and very successful team over the past few seasons earning recognition including a World Series championship, numerous tournament victories, and multiple State Championships including the 2018 U-trip 11U Major State Championship where we competed against teams considered to be in the top 5 of the State. This team will be coached by, and our baseball program will be overseen by Coach Jay Witherspoon, current coach of The Club’s highly successful 11U Red team and Double PLAYS new Director of Sports Programming. This team is Cooperstown Bound!
