Looking for ALL position players, including & especially Catchers & Pitchers. We are also looking for players that want to be P.O.’s and be included on a team with a great bunch of families.

Additional Tryouts pending, depending on turn-out.
A new East Cobb team focused on the fundamentals to get your ballplayer to the next level. With Full-time Professional Coaches, with a high level of D1 College Baseball experience. We know how to prepare your ballplayer to make his HS team and grow into a fine young man. Our coaching staff has both HS and Travel coaching experience and will focus on excellent fundamentals, decreasing errors, playing the game the right way, running the bases with speed & aggression, and hitting the baseball for power.

The team will work around the High School Baseball schedule to provide an exceptional experience, including 3-4 Fall Tournaments (Light Schedule), Winter Indoor Training (Hitting, Pitching, and Catcher work), and then a full 11-12 Spring Tournament schedule. The season will finish with an out of town Tournament, to be determined.
Many 14U teams look to start later and only play a shortened Spring season. We plan to start sooner in Spring to get the team ready for the Summer season, and we’ll work with the players to provide a complete 14U season. As our 14U team will consist of both 8th & 9th grade players, many will be available for the entire Spring. The 9th grade players, who will mostly play JV Baseball, will be able to start as soon as their JV season ends and jump right into a full Travel schedule. When you're spending money on a travel season you want to play as many games as you can to get more "game situation" experience. That's why we plan to play an Independent schedule that allows the team to develop and play a lot of baseball in addition to a full Tournament schedule.
Playing Football or Soccer in the Fall? No problem, we plan for a light Fall Season that will permit you to play other sports and attend practices when your schedule allows. We’ll carry enough players to allow us to play a few late Fall Tournaments and/or possibly some Sunday Only Tournaments.
How about Winter Basketball? No problem, we have several ballplayers that will play Basketball this year. Our goal is to offer Practice Times that are suitable to the Basketball schedule and still allow for pitching, catching, and hitting development.
The East Cobb 14U Yankees will start at a high AAA / low Major level until we adjust to our 60/90 field size and BBCOR bats and get more competitive. We’re looking for SOLID ballplayers that show the skills and mindset to play at the highest level. However, we’re not focused on just the Elite level, but rather players that are still growing, learning, and enjoy playing the game. We need players that WANT to be on the ball-field and enjoy playing with other ballplayers with similar attitudes. We look for respect of Teammates, Coaches, Parents, and Umpires.
We have professional coaches with specialties in all area of the game, especially Pitching & Catching. We’ll work hard in the Fall for team cohesion, develop in the Winter with our hitting and pitching, learn some game strategy in the early Spring, and then jump into a full Spring & Summer Tournament schedule.
Look out, here come the Yankees!
