STaF-Athletics will have a Fall Baseball league and a fall Travel Flag Football league. 8 Teams in both leagues.
STaF Athletics Flag Football Details
• 7 on 7 flag football
• 9 players per team (tons of playing time for all players!)
• Season is a minimum of 8 games with an additional end of season tournament
• Games run Mid-September - early November
• Games will played at NCCS Football Stadium on Sundays after 2:00 pm. (Tentatively at either 2:00 or 3:30 pm)
• Cost is $150 per player
• Uniforms, flags, balls, game site, trained football officials all provided
• There will be a rules clinic and coaches clinic to support coaches who want to learn more about coaching flag football.
Registration
•We will have 8 coaches building their own teams. Yes, Coaches get to put together their own teams!!! No draft. No worrying about who your teammates will be. No worrying about who your coach may be.
•We already have 4 coaches and are looking for 4 more so please email me or Scott Johnson our league director atcsjohnson9ranger1@gmail.com if you are interested in coaching and/or playing
•Start putting your team together and have your coach reach out to us with questions. If you need help completing your roster we have several interested players waiting for a team.
Who is this for?
• Baseball Players that want to play Football but not tackle and not 5 days a week.
•Coaches that want to give their Travel Teams a break from all year baseball but keep the team together so you don’t lose players.
•Payers that want to work on throwing the football ball. Tackle football is all about giving the ball to one player and letting him run the ball. & on 7 is about throwing and catching ball skills.
•Rising 4th graders (or rising 5th graders who play at 10u age group this fall)
•Experienced football players who want to get more reps in a flag football setting
