The 13u West Cobb Braves will be holding open tryouts for the 2010-2011 on Sunday, August 1st & 8th, 2010 at Big Shanty Baseball Complex from 1:30 PM - 4 PM both days.
Big Shanty is located adjacent to Kennesaw Mountain High School in West Cobb. The address is 2050 Kennesaw Due West Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA
Private tryouts can be arranged if necessary.
For the fall, we plan to start practicing in mid November 2010. (We will work around football if needed). For the spring, we plan to start practicing in January 2011 (indoor facility) with games starting in late February and ending in late June or early July 2011.
We are looking for players and families who are interested in playing baseball at a higher competitive level. All positions are considered open and everyone is welcome.
Both Coaches played Division I baseball and have more than 400 wins and 40 + tournament victories combined in the past 5 years.
Manager Reed Parker has been coaching Travel Ball for the past 6 years and just completed a very successful year with the 14U West Cobb Dawgs. Coach Rich Rousseau has coach travel ball for the past 7 years including a team this past fall - 15U West Cobb Braves.
