The 13u West Cobb Braves have put together an impressive roster of 10 very solid players and we are looking for 1-2 more players that can be key contributors to fill out our roster. We have already received commitments from some of the strongest players from 8 different teams including a South FL transfer. This is not a team made up of a core group from one 2010 team.

We plan to play a high AAA schedule in 2011 but we won't be afraid to play majors from time to time. Big Shanty is our home field and is located adjacent to Kennesaw Mountain High School in West Cobb. The address is 2050 Kennesaw Due West Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA

For the fall, we plan to have light, optional workouts on Sundays starting in September. We will work around fall sports and these workouts are OPTIONAL. For the spring, we plan to start practicing in early January 2x a week indoors with games starting in March and ending in early July. We will stick to tournaments in the state of GA as the competition is as good here as you will find anywhere else. The lone exception will be a season ending tournament, possibly at the Ripken Baseball Complex in Myrtle Beach, SC.

We are looking for players who are interested in playing baseball at a higher competitive level.

The coaching staff has many years experience as they have all coached kids that are now in older age groups. Several of the coaches played Division I baseball. Two have more than 400 wins and 40 + tournament victories combined.

Manager Reed Parker has been coaching Travel Ball for the past 6 years and just completed a very successful year with the 14U West Cobb Dawgs. Reed had the highest batting average in the nation among all JUCO players while a sophomore in college. Coach Rich Rousseau has coached travel ball for the past 6 years including the 2006-2008 11-13 yr old Vipers, a very successful local team that competed with and beat several nationally ranked teams. Every player on those Vipers teams made their high school team in 2010.

To arrange a private workout please call Reed or Rich.

Reed Parker (Manager) - 404-886-4709
Rich Rousseau (Asst Coach) - 678-428-8545
