The Sandy Plains 12U Wildcats official tryouts will be held on Tuesday evening, July 9th at Harrison Park in Marietta (details coming soon on the Sandy Plains Baseball Association Website). Rain date will be Thursday evening, July 11th.
Our successful candidates are hard-working, coachable, driven young men that have a high level of respect for the game and their teammates/coaches. Strong pitching, catching and AAA travel experience is a plus.
We are looking for great ballplayers with great families. After forming last year, we have many returning players and plan to extend our roster to 12 players.
We have a new assistant coach as well as several paid coaches. We also possess a Cooperstown certificate.
We will plan to play approximately 4 Fall tournaments and around 12 Spring tournaments before heading to Cooperstown.
