Georgia Renegades Baseball will be in our 3rd season in 2019/2020 and have built our successful team and coaching philosophy around the Matheny Manifesto:

Here are additional details about our organization:
• We are focused and committed to player development with the goal of improving your son to play at the high school level. If your son is talented enough, he may play at the collegiate or pro level but it will mostly be through his own hard work and dedication to baseball. We want boys who want to learn the game the right way (no chanting, sportsmanship in victory and defeat), are dedicated to their teammates and love the game of baseball.
• We only offer travel baseball at the 12U and up age group. We believe that players at the younger levels need to really develop a love for baseball and be a student of the game before they make the travel commitment.
• We believe your son should be a multi-sport athlete up-to and throughout his high school years. We practice 1 day per week in the fall (Sunday) to provide our players the opportunity to play football, lacrosse, basketball, wrestling or other sports. We expect to play 1-2 tournaments in the fall with some limited scrimmages as possible. In the spring, we move to baseball mode and practice 2-3 days per week, plan to play 10-12 tournaments per team as well as multiple scrimmages with local teams. For perspective, our 12u team in 2019 played 50 games (tournament/scrimmages/Cooperstown).
• We are based out of Suwanee/Johns Creek/Cumming and practice at multiple facilities in the area. Our practices are built on stations, reps, and individual player development with professional coaching.
• We are a baseball family that takes care of our players and their family members. It is very important that players and parents on our team are bought into this approach and are committed to each other on the field as well as in life.
