The 13U Smyrna Slammers team will have tryouts for the 2019/2020 season on Sunday, August 11th, from 5:00-6:30 PM at Brinkley Park (Hambrick Field) in Smyrna. There will be a make-up tryout on Wednesday, August 14th, from 7:00-8:00 PM. Players only need to attend 1 of the sessions. There is no cost to tryout.
The team will be coached by Travis Stout. Travis is a professional hitting instructor and has coached travel teams for a number of years. The entire coaching staff is dedicated to developing players and maximizing their potential. We want players to learn to play multiple positions and we constantly stress fundamentals, baseball IQ, and doing things the right way.
