The Georgia Stars Baseball Academy 15u, 16u, & 17u, & 18u Team for the 2019-2020 Season, non-profit 501(c)3 organization located in Norcross, Georgia, is an organization dedicated to the development of young men through the game of baseball. Our mission of our organization is for our players to be developed in the Infield, Outfield, Pitching, and Hitting. The academy teaches our players the mental aspect of the game along with the correct fundamentals to be successful when taking the field. We are actively evaluating players for the new 15u, 16u, & 17u, 18u, Georgia Stars Team for the 2019-2020 season.
What your son can expect as a Stars athlete:
1. Player Development- teaching fundamentals of the game Infield, Outfield, Pitching, & Hitting. 2. Training- Position and group training on all aspects of the game for 10 months of our season. 3. Competition- Playing competitive tournaments that assist of PERFECT GAME, PBR EVENTS, and COLLEGE SHOWCASES. 4. Professional Coaching Staff - Coaches who have played the game in College and beyond. 5. Encourage the Love of Baseball, Leadership, Scholarship, and Sportsmanship.
Tryout Dates & Information:
August 7, 2019 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm - Shorty Howell Park Field #1
August 10, 2019 - 12:00 - 2:00pm - Georgia Stars Baseball Academy Indoor Facility
TRYOUT FEE IS $25.00 PER PLAYER. This Tryout Fee covers both days.
Georgia Stars Baseball Academy Exclusive Indoor Facility located at 4525 South Berkley Lake Road, Norcross GA. 30071. Players should bring their helmets, bats and turf/tennis shoes. No cleats.
Shorty Howell Park located at 2750 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth GA. 30096. Players should wear proper baseball attire including cleats as we will be performing infield and outfield position specific drills.
Georgia Stars Baseball Academy also offers Free Tutoring for our players in the academy during our season once a week to stay on top with their school academics.
Georgia Stars Baseball Academy offer Free Pitching Clinic during our season once a week to our players with better knowledge and performance on the mound during games.
Attention: All Player fees are Tax Deductible as we are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Public Charity.
