Guru, Why is it always about this Southside thing? Let the kids just play ball from the southside, northside, eastside and westside. It 10 yr old baseball.

Hey its,
I think he thinks he's protecting the southside teams. I might be wrong but I don't remember any postings showing disrespect for the southside teams so I don't know why he's always making it sound like the northside teams have something against teams from the southside. |

| What is this, Gang up on the GURU day. I was merely making an observed comment on how good a certain team was. A team that happened to play on the southside with great team speed and ability. That's not taking anything away from the north teams. You and I both know not enough credit goes towards the teams of the south, but then again this is a NWGA baseball website, so why should it. |

A few of these teams have played in Frost tournaments and others that haven't, but were very strong last year. Of the teams I've seen play, these are the stronger ones:
643 DP, Atl. Blue Jays, ECB LONGHORN, GA. Yard Dogs , OREGON PARK SHARKS , WILLIS PARK Warriors (sorted alphabetically). Any one of these teams could win it.
North Cobb Warriors , OTC , WEST FORSYTH DIAMOND DOGS need to play better than they did in prior tournaments.
Yet to see SANDTOWN BLUE JAYS, OLD NATIONAL KNIGHTS , ATLANTA AVALANCHE , BUCKHEAD BRAVES , GEORGIA BRAVES.
Should be a great tournament. Good luck to all....

Coach0512, my pint exactly. I have watched this age group for 2 years and have never seen any thread bashing the Southside teams. Yes, my son plays for a NWGA team. We should not try and stir this Southside-Northside pot. The kids enjoying playing new teams whenever they can.

Pool B is loaded with OP, Longhorns and the Yard Dogs!
We will see the long awaited Longhorn/Yard Dogs matchup Sat @ 12:30 - that's one not to miss.

Wow OP got screwed.
Not that I don't think that they have a good chance to win both games, because if they play to their potential, they will. But they'll probably use up a lot of pitching in the process. |
