The Rising 13U Prowlers will be hosting workouts on Tuesday, July 28th and Thursday, July 30th from 6:45 - 9:00pm at Harrison Park on Field 3.

Is your son currently part of an organization that has multiple teams at every age group with no field to practice on? Or, do they share practice time with multiple other teams? Does your son play for a team where the coach at practice is not the same one at their games? The Prowlers have plenty of field time and the coaches at our practices are the same ones at the games. We take pride in instruction and knowing the boys/families on our team.

We are excited to announce that Ryan Rodebaugh will be the Head Coach of the Prowlers next season. Ryan played for Sprayberry High School and went on to play at Kennesaw State University. Ryan was drafted at the end of his Junior year by the Texas Rangers organization where he played 5 seasons. Ryan went on to play his last 2 professional seasons with the Saint Paul Saints. Here is a brief article about Ryan when he was with the Saints: http://minorleaguesportsreport.com/index.php/poise-under-fire-makes-st-paul-saints-ryan-rodebaugh-the-guy-closing-the-deal/

In addition to Coach Ryan, we'll also be utilizing Tyler Tolve, current catcher/infielder for the KSU Owls. Tyler has been has been helping to strengthen the hitting for the Prowlers during the Spring and will continue to work with the team next season in hitting, catching and field instruction. https://ksuowls.com/sports/baseball/roster/tyler-tolve/9242

Our successful candidates are hard-working, coachable, driven young men that have a high level of respect for the game and their teammates/coaches. The boys are expected to give 100% effort when they step between the chalk lines. Strong pitching and travel experience a plus. We are looking for ballplayers with great baseball families. If any candidates are pursuing a PO role, we'll offer those positions at a reduced rate. As part of our budget, our goal is to provide all amenities when your son joins the Prowlers program. You will not have to go outside of our program for lessons. He will get regular top notch private pitching and hitting instruction as part of his development. Private instruction will also be afforded to those that pursue a catching position.

The Prowlers will build on their last 4 years of success that we have achieved as a team. For the past 2 seasons, we've played on the Major level and plan to continue to challenge our boys against that level of talent. We are a Fall Friendly Sports Team. During the Winter Break, many of our boys play as a Basketball Travel Team to supplement our off season conditioning program. And yes, we have an experienced coach for that too.

If the Prowlers sound like a program for you and your son, please contact Coach George Stevenson at 770-686-4911 or gvsteve1030@comcast.net to schedule a workout with the team. When doing so, please provide your son's name and experience (including past teams played for and positions).
