Sharon Springs rising 10U travel team is holding a tryout this Tuesday 8/4 from 6-7:30pm at Sharon Springs Park on field 3 (1950 Sharon Springs Rd, Cumming 30041). We play at the AA/AAA level and are looking to add 1-2 players to our current roster. We are focused on the catcher and pitcher positions but are interested in any player/position that could bring value to the team.
We practice out of Sharon Springs Park as well as Redline Athletics in Cumming. We estimate playing in 3-4 tournaments this fall and 10-15 tournaments in Spring 2021.
The coaching staff's background comprises of over 10 years MLB service time, former Division 1 baseball players, and nearly 10 years youth coaching experience. Our focus is developing the proper fundamentals to assist the boys as they grow in the game of baseball in small group settings to maximize the number of reps. We strongly encourage dual sports in the fall/winter but will practice and have cage opportunities if they can attend without schedule conflict.
