GA Power Baseball - 14U Myers is still playing our summer schedule out like many major 14U teams due to a late start with COVID. We typically have a tryout for GA Power in early August. Our current team this year is 29- 7 & 3 ties. We have WON 3 “Major” tournaments including the PBR Woodbat 14U and a PG Championship as well. We have had a fantastic season and we have great families and players. Our expenses are considerably less than most baseball academies we compete with at the highest level. Please research and check our schedule out and who we have beat and who we play. We play a great schedule and regularly beat all the well respected academies in the metro and SE states. The leadership on our team has been solid for years and we have very little turnover. The Ga Academy Power program will have 30 plus baseball teams this fall and 20 softball teams. We will be one of the largest academies in the SE and its non-profit which means the money paid in goes to the teams and the organization which is a huge benefit to the players/ families. We will practice at the well respected Lakepoint facility in early spring and we also use Cherokee HS indoor and outdoor facilities which are great as well in the fall and later spring/ summer season. This team has out of town players and we work with their schedule to accommodate the long drive for practices so dont let long distance during the week deter you from reaching out. We have 2 paid coaches ( former players ) and also a GM that has won at every level he played at and has coached at and brings that experience to managing the club and developing our players into D1 Collegiate players. We will have a full time pitching coach that has pitched at a very high level with great success that will work with pitchers in practice and game time prep and strategy. This 15U team will play in at least two national championships and all the best Metro ATL tournaments at mainly PG and PBR @ Lakepoint. We will start private tryouts for 3-5 kids at a time so they get individual attention while trying out avoiding the “cattle call” of most big programs and the collection of big money just to try out. There are FOR SURE OPEN slots on this proven and successful team. Please email our administrator Coach Jeff Myers at jmyers725@yahoo.com immediately for a private tryout next week. If needed we will extend another week unless these open slots fill up.. Please include in the email to Coach Myers (1) Your sons name first and last, (2) His last two travel ball teams he has been on, (3) The positions he plays and succeeds at, (4) Anything you want us to know that makes him unique AND (5) If he is a pitcher, what is his top FB velocity recorded with PG Diamond Cast because we will be looking at his velocity if he tries out and if he is a catcher and you have his average “pop time” what it is. Things like this allow us to see if he will be a candidate for this team. This is a high level and competitive travel ball team and we DO HAVE OPENINGS RIGHT NOW. It’s a great opportunity for a spot on a very successful team. Please respond ASAP for a semi-private tryout!! Thanks in advance for your response. GAP Baseball....

No sir, the program has added almost 20 teams this year but the 15U group teams are the oldest right now and the plan is to take it to 18U as the teams inch up year by year at this point. If I hear differently Hurricane22 I will reach out to you directly. I will check on this to make sure that is 100 % correct and not going to change. Thanks for your interest.

We look at the players that are qualified on this Tuesday evening. We have had a good response but looking for the best talent and a great supporting family. Please also keep in mind we are looking at any “Pitcher Only’s” if you are interested in looking at that let me know. Thanks GA Power Baseball

Replying to Hurricane 22’s question there now has been added a 16U and a 18U team since your question. It will be called the Georgia Academy Swarm Baseball team and they added an 18U team called Georgia Academy Braves Baseball. Sorry for the delay you can look that up on the website.
