The 13u Parkview Panthers are looking for an experienced Travel team catcher. I know it's kind of late but we are looking to add one more member to our team.
First a little about us: We are the 12u GGBL champions from last year returning most of our team this year. Although we play in the GGBL we also play in tournaments as well, before, during and after the GGBL season is over. This year we are looking at playing 18+ GGBL games and between 6 to 9 tournaments. We did well in every tournament we played in last year and finished 2nd at last years Cal-Ripkin tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC.
What we are looking for: This part is very important so please read all of what we are looking for. We are looking for an experienced catcher that has years of experience at the position, a strong arm and excellent blocking skills and he must aspire to be a catcher as well. We are also looking for him to have a strong bat and good speed. He must have previous travel ball experience with preferably more than just a year.
WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR: We are not looking to fill a pitching position, NOR a shortstop or any infield positions for that matter but CATCHER. We don't want to hear about how good he is at 3rd base, nor do we want to hear about the AWESOME double play he made playing in the 6 position. The only and I can't express this enough.. the only position we would like to hear about is how he threw the fastest kid out by a mile while the kid had a great jump at first...
I know this may sound like over kill and I hope I don't sound like a knuckle head.. but we are only looking to fill a catchers position and we do not want to give the wrong impression that we are looking for anything but a catcher.

I hope I am not running too many people off? I just want to make sure that people understand we are looking for a catcher first. We really do like to have fun and teach baseball and get kids ready for the next level, which is right around the corner.
