Yankees are the favorites - the questions is who will come in 2nd? I think it will be East Side or Coal Mnt. I don't know anything about Sharon Springs or Roswell. |

Think Coal Mt. lost several players from last year, some of them playing for Scorpions. Interested to see if Yankees pick up where they left off last year. Also, several of these teams have changed personnel from last year (Titans, Scorpions, Coal Mt.) or are new teams (Hornets). Looking forward to a great weekend of baseball. |

Certainly the Yankees are the best team on paper, but anything can happen in bracket play. Im anxious to go see some of the new teams play with some of the teams returning from 9u. Should be a good weekend of baseball... |

Looks like East Side and Yankees got off to a good start Thurs and Fri, interested to see how the other teams in tournament match up today. |

No real surprises at the top as the Yankees handily run the table, outscoring their opponents 54-3 in their 4 games. A good showing by Coal Mountain who reached the championship game in the top bracket. The Gamers Blue squad was very cold in pool play, but found their bats on Sunday to win both games of the consolation bracket and take the trophy. All in all a good weekend of baseball. |

Baseballnutz your predictions were correct, Coal Mtn took 2nd and East side took 3rd. Coal Mtn was a strong team last year and the couple of roster and personnel changes they made will make them an even stronger team this year. Hats off to Sandy Plains for a great tournament!! |

Nice win Yankees! Coal Mountain came hitting and your defense made every play, that's a nice shutout against a team that hits the ball well. The young man from Coal Mtn was throwing well and your boys battled, that leadoff man you guys have is on of the toughest outs in this age group. Nice showing both teams. |

Congratulations to all the teams. The Yankees backed up the hype and are unbelievably good. Should be playing 11U and all at the field are believers now! Great job Roswell Hornets in their first tournament, taking down Coal Mountain! Go Hornets! |

Gohornets - I can see the Yankees competing at the 11U AA/AAA level but the majors play a whole other level of ball. I walked down and caught the last couple innings of the Rays/Longhorns ship and the size, speed and depth of those teams would be to much. |
