The Barrett Bearcats will be holding tryouts for the 2011 Fall and 2012 Spring Seasons on July 9th and 16th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at their new Bearcat Field. The Barrett Bearcats have had a successful first year winning several tournaments including two Triple Crown Tournaments. For the upcoming season, our Instructional Coaches will be both Michael Barrett, former MLB player and Peter Bergeron, also a former MLB player and current Head Coach for the 14U Georgia Roadrunners who are one of the top teams in the country. Our program will incorporate the best in Instructional Coaching.
We are looking to add experienced AAA/Major players that are interested in a solid program that focuses on developing talented kids and taking them to the next level. We plan to finish our 2012 Season in Cooperstown.

| Michael Barrett himself will be leading the tryout evaluations on both July 9 and 16. The July 9 session is nearing capacity so please register as soon as possible. |

Thanks to all the kids and parents that came out for our first session of tryouts yesterday. We were pleased with the level of talent, attitude and hustle we saw. We are still accepting registrations for the second session on July 16 and have a dozen private tryouts to get through. We plan to move through these as quickly as possible over the next 2 weeks.
Thanks so much for the tremendous interest in our program!

A couple of things - first, thanks for all the positive feedback on our tryouts and the instruction that Michael Barrett provided during the first session - there is much more to come as a minimum of 60% of all practices will be led by Michael for both the Fall and Spring Season.
Secondly, we are pleased to announce that we have partnered with a Non-Profit Organization to jointly work some local fundraisers that will significantly reduce the out of pocket expenses for each player on our team for the coming year including Cooperstown fees and team fees! We have been working on this for a while and solidified it today! |

| Based on the Session 1 tryouts, we expect our Session 2 Tryouts to run closer to 3 hours as opposed to 2. If you are already registered for the July 16 Session, please plan to be there from 10:00 - 1:00. |

| We are currently working through a significant number of private tryouts over the next 2 weeks. We will let everyone know as soon as we get through these tryouts. |
