The DSB Diablos will hold tryouts for their 15U team on August 6th at Dunwoody Park from 1:00-3:00. If you are a pitcher or catcher, plan to also attend a tryout on August 7th from 12:00 to 2:00. We are looking for serious, motivated, and focused baseball players for a fall/summer team through the summer of 2012. We will play a highly competitive schedule. We will play in the Perfect Game Showcase and will also travel at least once to a major tournament and will complete the season at the end of July.
The DSB Diablos will be coached by Carlos Love and Eric Love. Together, they have more than 30 years of combined baseball playing and coaching experience. Carlos was a four year starter at Georgia Southern and Eric was a 2 time All Conference selection at Albany State University. Both graduated from Dunwoody High School where they were standout students and baseball players.
We are looking for 3 or 4 "pitcher only" with an opportunity to do more than pitch as the season goes along. Also looking for an above average catcher with good arm strength and ability to block the baseball. We are looking to carry 16 or 17 players. There will be a make up tryout on August 8th at 6:00PM at Dunwoody Park. Please notify Coach Love if you will be attending.

***REMINDER***
There's one more opportunity to try out for the 2012 DSB Diablos 15U teams Monday, the 8th, at Dunwoody Park. Start time is 6:00. You can attend if you missed the tryouts over the weekend or would like the coaches to have one more look before picking the teams. Teams will be selected this week and posted on the team's web site by Friday evening. There will be 2 15U teams this year, Gold and Maroon. The Gold team will be coached by Carlos & Eric Love and the Maroon team will be coached by Bill Cefaratti. |
