Developing Champions for Baseball and Life
The 2012 12U ECB Titans will be holding a workout/tryout this Saturday, July 23rd, at the East Cobb Complex from 2:00 - 4:00.
The 2012 Titans will be a newly formed team and will be an active part of the East Cobb Titans' Organization, benefiting from coaching from throughout the Titans' program. The 12U Titans will be coached by Reid Turner (Head Coach/Non-parent) and Trey Lopez (Assistant Coach).
Reid Turner: Prior coaching experience includes Assistant Coach of the 18U ECB Astros (40-5 record) and Head Coach of the Kell Varsity Fall Team. Reid currently works for the ECB Academy and gives hitting, pitching, and catching lessons. Reid's playing experience includes playing within the ECB Astros and Titans organization for 11 years, 2 year starter at Kell High School, First Team All-Region, Under Armour All American in 2009, and received a scholarship to play at Georgia Tech. Due to injury, Reid was unable to begin his college career and is now focusing on coaching.
Trey Lopez: Prior coaching experience includes 9 years of coaching at various levels, most notably was an Assistant Coach of the 16U ECB Titans in 2004 & 2005, Head Coach of UGA Club Baseball team in 2003 & 2004, and was also the Co-Head Coach of the 11U ECB Spartans in 2011. Trey also played at the collegiate level.
Throughout the year, the 12U Titans will also receive coaching during practice from Chance Beam (Head Coach of 16U ECB Titans, Founder of ECB Titans and ECB Academy).
The Titans plan to play 12-15 tournaments, 1-2 in the Fall, and 12-14 in the Spring/Summer. In the Winter (Nov/Dec), the Titans will also participate in the ECB Academy's Winter Workout Program (inclusive of being a Titan; The Winter workout program is a 8 week program with an intensive focus on the finer points of the game. Players will be challenged and see tremendous strides through the drill work and the attention to detail from ECBA staff.

| The Saturday (7/23) tryout at the ECB Complex has been changed to 10 AM - 12 PM. Please email us at 12U.ECBTitans@gmail.com if interested in attending the tryout. (Please note: any player interested in playing with an East Cobb team must attend the ECB tryout on August 6th & 7th, a $100 fee will be required of all players). |

We have received a large amount of interest in this weekend's tryout, a few slots still remain, if interested in attending please email us at 12U.ECBTitans@gmail.com. This Saturday's tryout/workout on 7/23 will be at the ECB Complex Field 4 or 6 from 10 AM to around 12 PM.
If unable to attend this weekend's tryout, we are planning to have another next week. If interested in attending the second tryout, please email us so that we can place you on our mailing list and update you with information as available.

Our second workout/tryout will be held tomorrow, Saturday (7/30) at the ECB Complex, Field 4 or 6, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. We currently have a large group of players attending; if interested in attending as well, please email us at 12U.ECBTitans@gmail.com so that we can prepare appropriately.
