COACHES, PLAYERS, FANS AND CRITICS:
Just wanted to put some positive news on the website regarding the Triple Crown & Forsyth County Slugfest. We appreciate all of the teams that have supported this tournament and welcome any teams that have not experienced this great kickoff event! The tournament committee has always put their best foot forward in organizing this HUGE EVENT and worked long hours beyond the call of duty.
Many of the critics have pointed out that the tournament is always open to getting poor weather! It is always a challenge and know that the tournament staff and field supervisors do everything in their power to get the event played. We hope that the 2012 SLUGFEST will be the best tournament ever!
WE HAD RIGHT AT 246 TEAMS PARTICIPATING IN THE SOLD OUT EVENT IN 2011! EVENTHOUGH WE ONLY GOT TO PLAY FRIDAY NIGHT, MANY OF THE TEAMS DONATED TO A GREAT CAUSE!
IF YOU HAVE EVER THOUGHT ABOUT PLAYING IN THE EVENT OR ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT JUMPING IN THAT EARLY IN THE SEASON, WE WELCOME YOU TO READ THE ARTICLE ENCLOSED!
