From the reviews I have seen Marucci CAT 5 (lot of kids using it at practice, price is right), Rip It Prototype, T1000 is getting a lot of hype (Combat B3 AB1 is all positive). But as everybody knows any bat is only as good as the person swinging it.

My son has Easton S2. All the BBCOR bats are where "off the end triples and check swing homeruns" go to die.

I'm not sure any of them is a lot better than another. And...wood hits as good as any of them too from what I have witnessed.

my son used to swing the 5150. He wasnt happy w/it so we went to Better Baseball and he swung the CAT5, Easton S1, S2. No comparison. Got the best bat speed with the S1. So we bought it. He loves it. (for a BBCOR bat) He says the ball jumps off this bat like it was a BESR model rather than BBCOR. Biggest drawback is the price. $399 retail. Def a good bat for the smaller player (my son is 5'10"...140lbs)
