I like Ga. Hurricanes chances to win this one vs T of C. Good switch.

Should be some very good baseball here this weekend. Again though it'd be nice to see OTC or HP or any of the other past / current top teams from Georgia here or in the TOC that aren't in either one.

On another note for this lineup; Can the Bluejays hold it together in this one and take home the gold? I'm sure a lot of other teams here think not. A friend and I were talking about this tourney last night. Who do you think will round out the top four here?

I would think the GA Hurricanes would be the overwhelming favorite in this tournament against mostly AAA competition. If it was single elimination then a lot more teams would have a chance, but its not likely the Hurricanes would lose twice to AAA teams. My 2nd pick would probably be Sawnee Mountain on their home course.

West Forsyth DD did not join in. Friday two game pools and double elim bracket setup here ...

http://www.triplecrownsports.com/showbracketgen_gameinfo.asp?tournyid=4674&divisionid=81

Tough to predict a final four out of this group ... there are several teams I haven't seen play once this year. Since there are no byes in the bracket setup, 6 inning pitch limit for first four games, and double elim starting on Saturday ... I expect to see some runs stack up on Friday.

I like the Titans and Hurricanes in the finals. I'm playing the odds as there are 3 Titan teams and 3 Hurricane teams.

I like it! Probably the most well thought out predictions I have seen on a board this year. Is there a way to see the roster of a team from a previous Triple Crown tournament? Sorry if I missed some obvious link on this.

Looks like the Canes will have to go through the Loser's bracket to take this one. It will be tough and take a lot of pitching but it is still possible.

It looks like the Hurricanes completely ran out of pitching by their last game. I guess thats what happens when you lose early and have to battle through the losers bracket.

It may be easier to use your lower pitchers early in the loser's bracket but harder as you get deeper. The remaining teams (RBA, SMT, SPX, and Blue Jays) all can hit.

Hurricanes pitched 5 pitchers in last game just out played by SPX who are a good hitting team.

Congratulations to this weekend's Champions. Lot's of miles on my car bouncing between the two venues. My son asked if we can buy a motorhome! Atlanta Blue Jays looked very good over the weekend. Was surprised by certain teams but heard that Hurricanes were down to 10 players but added a AA player from their other 11u team. Saw the same ole' at ECb this weekend...more drama. Loved watching the TOC championship game...quality play.

I'm getting better at picking this thing. Okay one out of ten isn't technically getting better so back to the drawing board for next week.
Congratulations to all the teams who played some great ball this weekend. I was at the TOC for the majority of the weekend but did get a chance to drop in on the TC State. DD "the ssame ole' at ECB" produced some awesome baseball to and not sure about the drama you're referring to. I missed that other than coaches, parents etc. being upset about calls which is a part of every tournament.

More importantly - how were the bathrooms at ECB this weekend? Maybe that was the drama.

LOL, they were fine on the lower end but I do remember when they were down and out for a few weeks.

Wife says the women's upper was fine also.

Due to the fact that this was a double elimination tournament, I'd guess there were many "pick-ups" for the weekend. Anyone know if Triple Crown restricts the number of add on players?
