Team Georgia Baseball Academy will be hosting a Tryout/Clinic for 9U-13U age groups on July 14th and 15th for the 2013 season. There will be 2 teams at each age group this year, a Red team and a Blue team. The tryout will have a clinic type setting where your son will be put through 2-3 hours of drills, and baseball situations to test their baseball knowledge as well as be able to showcase their skills in front of evaluating coaches for each age group.
TGBA has been a highly recognized organization over the years at the 14U-17U age groups and will be bringing the development philosophies from the older age groups down to the 9U-13U ages starting this fall. This will be a tremendous opportunity to anyone involved in our organization.

Grand Slam Sports Center in Johns Creek, Georgia will be the official Home of Team Georgia Baseball Academy for the years. You can visit their website at www.GrandSlamSportsCenter.com. Aaron Alvarez, owner of Grand Slam Sports Center, will be the head of Player Development for our 9U-13U age groups. If you have any questions you can reach out to him at Aaron.Alvarez@TGBABaseball.com. His staff at Grand Slam Sports Center combined with the staff of Team Georgia Baseball Academy will provide an enormous amount of development for the players in this organization and will help your son immensely on and off the field.

The coaching staff of the 11U Alpharetta Warriors will be leaving Alpharetta Youth Baseball/Wills Park after seven years to lead one of the 12U TGBA teams next year.
We are very excited to be a part of the Team Georgia family and look forward to the opportunities afforded to the TGBA players.
Next year, our players will benefit from team & individual instruction (pitching, hitting, fielding, and speed & agility) from former college & professional instructors in addition to our coaching staff, Grand Slam Sports Center (an indoor baseball facility), dedicated practice fields, and the opportunity to be a part of an elite baseball academy program.

The Coaching Staff from Patriot Baseball Academy Red will be leaving to join Team Georgia Baseball next year as well. We are very excited about the opportunity to coach one of the 12U teams for TGBA in 2013.
We are particularly excited about the changes going on with TGBA and look forward to working with Aaron Alvarez and the staff at Grand Slam.
While most of the PBA Red team will join us again for 2013 we do have several spots open. If you would like more information regarding our team tryouts, you may contact me at busydad@earthlink.net.

Secondary Tryout Clinics
TGBA 9U-13U will be holding secondary tryout clinics for those players who are unable to make our primary tryout clinic on July 14/15. We understand that this time of year is a great time for family vacations and we want to make sure that players have the opportunity to compete for a spot on our teams. The secondary tryout clinic will also be used for call backs.
Secondary Tryout Clinics are as follows:
12U/13U - July 21st from 4:00-7:00 at Pinecrest Academy
9U/10U/11U - July 28th from 4:00-7:00 at Milton High School (Softball Field)
