The Cooperstown bound AAA/Major rising 12U Atlanta Spartans is a professional coached baseball team playing out of Rehoboth Park, in Tucker at Lawrenceville highway and I-285. The team has 2 openings for the upcoming season for its light fall and full spring 2013 schedule. Particular emphasis is pitching, shortstop and hitting, but all players are welcome for a private tryout.
The coach was an All-ACC player with 4 years experience in the minor leagues. He also has 10 years experience in youth baseball with 5 years coaching at East Cobb to include a 15U team that had all players receive Div I scholarships and recently had 4 players drafted into MLB. This team is built on team chemistry and solid fundamentals. Both player and family must be a good fit.
