Tryouts for the 2012/13 - 12u Strike One Sports Slammers are going to be held July 21st and 22nd. Exact times will be determined this week. Please email Chris Cumberland - chriscumberland@bellsouth.net or call him 678-852-8678 to secure your spot or with questions.
Once the team is selected, there will be weekly fall practices and a light schedule of fall tournaments depending on how many players will be playing other sports. During the winter months we will move to the new indoor Strike One Sports Training Facility in Hiram for twice weekly cage work, pitching instruction, conditioning workouts and position specific instruction with our professional coaching staff. www.strikeonesports.com
The Slammers are a 2nd year travel team and plan to play 8 - 12 tournaments within driving distance during the spring season and intend on ending the season with The Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC in mid to late June 2013.
Strike One Sports will be hosting a skills enhancement camp July 16th - 19th from 9:00am - 1:00pm for $200 ($175 if you reserve your spot before 6/9 by calling Coach Chris) prior to the tryout at the Hiram training facility (as of July 6th there are 17 spots still available) for anyone interested please contact Coach Chris at 678-852-8678.
