Two teams, one tryout!
Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association (formerly Wills Park & Webb Bridge) will have tryouts for both the Alpharetta A’s and the Alpharetta Warriors on Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd. Attendance for both days is not mandatory, but certainly encouraged.
Saturday, July 21st: Check in 9:30. Tryouts 10:00-2:00 at Wills Park, Field D.
Sunday, July 22nd: Check in 3:00. Tryouts 3:30-6:00 at Wills Park, Field D.
Players will have the option to choose which team they join if they are offered spots by both teams.
The A’s will play a AAA schedule for the 2012-2013 season. The fall season will be fairly light in order to accommodate kids who choose to play football and other fall sports. We will practice 1-2 times per week and probably schedule at least a couple of tournaments in September/October. We will also play some scrimmage games against other area teams.
In the spring, we will play a full tournament schedule. We will also supplement our tournament schedule with games against other north Fulton area AAA travel teams. Finally, we’ll cap off the 2013 season with a trip to Cooperstown.
