Raiders Baseball
The 2012 Coal Mountain Raiders will be returning for the fall 2012 and summer 2013 seasons as the 15U Raiders Baseball. The Raiders will use Coal Mountain Park in Cumming GA as its home field. We are coming off of a successful 70 game spring schedule.
We are looking to make several key additions to last year's team as we move to 15U. We will play a fall schedule consisting of 4-5 tournaments and are planning a summer schedule of Perfect Game, Triple Crown, High School Showcases, USSSA, and other tournaments.
The Raiders coaching philosophy is built on strong physical fundamentals and mental preparation that will continue to allow the players to develop for High School baseball and beyond.
The Raiders will have three dates for tryouts held at Coal Mountain Park, Field #8; the tryout dates are as follows:
1. Saturday, August 11th, 5:30-8:00PM
2. Sunday, August 12th, 5:30-8:00PM
3. Tuesday, August 14th, 6:00-8:00PM
Players are encouraged to attend more than one tryout if available. There is no cost for tryouts.
The Raiders will commit to a manageable roster size to allow for ample playing time for all. We are looking for both position players as well as pitcher only players.
The overall player fees and team budget will be manageable for the amount of baseball we will play.
If you are unable to make any of these tryout dates please notify us so that we can arrange an individual workout.
