2013 East Cobb Indians 15U-18U Baseball Workouts
The East Cobb Indians celebrate their 5th year of playing competitive baseball within the East Cobb Baseball program in 2013. Success has been measured over the years by our play on the field and more importantly by our players moving on to play baseball in Division I, II, III, NAIA and JUCO programs as well our celebrating our first draftees in the 2012 MLB Draft. The East Cobb Indians will field 12U-18U teams for the upcoming 2012-13 seasons. EC Indians teams practice and play out of the main ECB Park, Dominion Christian High School and other local facilities.
The 15U-18U advanced workouts will be Thursday July 26th from 3pm-8pm at the Shaw Park Pony/Colt field. Shaw Park is located at 845 Shaw Park Rd in Marietta. Be sure to access the field via Bracket Road off of Canton Road.
The workout schedule is as follows:
3:00 - 3:15 – Stretch
3:15 – 3:30 - Warm up throwing
3:30 - 4:00 - Outfield catch and throw
4:00 - 4:30 - Infield throw
4:30 - 5:00 - Drills
5:00 - 7:00 - Scrimmage
7:00 on - Q & A
As requested by ECB, we will require the same paperwork and $100 payment required for the formal ECB tryouts in August. By attending our workout, you will also be paid and ready for the formal August ECB tryouts. The ECB Indians are not charging a fee above or taking any money from the main ECB tryout fee for these advanced workouts. Please help us by submitting a player interest form so we can plan accordingly. If you already know you have potential conflicts for the advanced workout on Thursday, please indicate so in the player interest form and we can discuss alternate workout times.
