The 17u/18u West Cobb Orioles will be hosting an open tryout. Ideally, these players would be experienced travel ball/high school players that can pitch as well. All positions will be evaluated.
We will be playing a 2012 fall schedule building toward our summer team in 2013. Next year, our plan is to play into late July playing tournaments including Triple Crown, Showcase and Perfect Game tournaments.
Tryouts will be at Big Shanty Park, 2050 Kennesaw Due West Rd, Kennesaw as follows:
Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 9:00 - 12:00 pm
Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm
There will be a $25 tryout fee.

Just to answer some questions about this coming weekend:
1. There WILL NOT be a tryout fee for this weekend! My mistake!!!
2. Yes, this is an open tryout and we will be looking at ALL positions.
3. Pitching is a plus. |
