Tryouts for the GPA Hooks White, which will now be the West Georgia Hooks White, are scheduled for Saturday July 28nd from 2pm-4pm. Tryouts will be held at the Hiram Sports Complex located at 264 Oak Street Hiram, GA 30141.
THIS TRYOUT IS PART OF THE WEST GEORGIA BASEBALL ASSOCIATION TRYOUTS. THERE ARE 3 12U TEAMS THIS YEAR.
The Hooks White are excited about the upcoming season and are looking to add a few strong players with strong mental attitudes. We were labeled as a AAA team last year but played mostly in open Major level tournaments.
All of our pitching, hitting, speed and agility training, and strength training will come from the Georgia Pitching Academy in Hiram ran by Coach Gene Ross and his talented Professional (former MLB players)staff. Gene formerly played with the Minnesota Twins. He will be in attendance to work with and evaluate pitchers at our tryouts this Saturday. Come on out and meet Gene and see what our organization has to offer your player.
