We had a fantastic first weekend of evaluations for the rising 16s with a great turnout of outstanding and talented young men with elite ability.
We have a few openings in the 15, 16, and 17u age classifications. We will continue to evaluate players over the next several days for this age group. Rising 15-17s who are still interested in being evaluated should complete the online registration form and we will contact you to schedule. The selection process is actively underway so please register ASAP to make sure we have a chance to evaluate you. We are not looking to have multiple teams in each age group and/or 30 players running back and forth between teams diluting the talent and playing time.
Please keep in mind we are a Major/Elite program and players should have experience at least at the AAA level. Tryouts started July 28th for 15's and are starting July 29th for 16 and 17's.

Denny Pritchett's Georgia Jayhawks are nationally known college showcase baseball teams playing out of Forsyth County in Cumming, Georgia. We are an elite program competing at the highest levels against national competition. Fresh off playing the Smoltz Grissom Championship at Turner Field and sending over 10 of our 18u team to play at the next level in college, the Jayhawk program is primarily made up of premier baseball players across Atlanta and surrounding metro areas and lead by MLB scout and well known instructor Denny Pritchett, former Samford Pitcher, West Forsyth HS and Centennial HS Varsity Pitching Matt Phillips, current North GA College Catcher Chris Rubessa, and current Gardner-Webb OF, 1B, LHP Will Canady.
The Jayhawk program trains out of the Denny Pritchett Baseball Clinic facilities in Cumming and Dawsonville and is focused not only on developing excellent baseball players, but also positive core traits such as teamwork, loyalty, and life lessons that will help our young men succeed in life beyond baseball.
The Jayhawks play essentially year round including fall and summer showcase events on college campuses along with top level Perfect Game, Triple Crown, B.E.S.T., Smoltz-Grissom and other elite college showcase events.
Our team fees are typically half of what elite 15-18u programs charge with 2 top flight indoor facilities that exceed most in the metro area. We compete at the MAJOR/ELITE level including extensive Perfect Game and National Level competition. Getting players to the next level and understanding how to provide exposure to players is a strength of the program. We just sent over 10 to play in college for the 2012 class. |

Rising 15u Jayhawks Tryouts:
First day of tryouts for rising 15u's for Fall/Summer 2013 was June 28th.
We will have couple of additional tryouts in smaller groups during the next two weeks and will schedule evaluations once we receive your online registration.

16u and 17u Teams for Fall / Summer 2013
Our experience is the 17u events are the most heavily scouted and playing our 16's and of course 17's in these showcases and tournaments is the best way to expose players to scouts for sophomores, juniors, and "young" seniors.
16u and 17u tryouts started July 29th. Players should register online and we will contact you with time and location options. We will be conducting the remaining evaluations in smaller groups starting July 29.
