Shaw Park Thunder will hold their final "open tryout" Sunday August 12th from 1pm-3pm at the Shaw Park Bronco Field.
We have a few spots remaining and are looking for solid players and great families to round out our team. We will be playing a light fall schedule that should conclude in early November.
We will spend the first few months of 2013 for specialized indoor training and professional instruction until our spring season opens up. We will be playing Lanier League regular season play (typically 20+ regular season games) mixed in with 3-4 tournaments. Lanier league is a great way to play competitive travel baseball without the uncertainty of tournament weekend schedules and last minute cancellations while keeping individual player fees lower.
Our end of season goal is Cooperstown the ultimate experience for any 12 year old!!
