Question can anyone tell me How much do a paid coach gets for 14u and 15u team also if a team charge you 2500 should the tournaments be included.

This is not too hard to calculate. If a 15U team has 15 players on it at 2500.00 the coach is bringing in $37,500. Subtract out 10 tournaments at about 575.00 each (5750.00) and what they put into uniforms which is not much from my experience (500.00/team.) Take off a little for baseballs/insurance/facility if they do not already own it and you will see they make a pretty good chunk of change for 3-4 months of work. The more players over 10 they have, the better their return as you can see the tournament fees are based on 10 players putting in to get the 5750. amount. I have done this before as I have my own field and facility and if I needed to do it could have a pretty good side business clearing about 7-10k a team per season. And that is charging about half what you are talking about.

My son's EC team has 2 full-time paid coaches. The combined coaches' fees are about $1500/month (combined, not per coach). They practice and play 3 months in the fall (Aug-Oct) and 6 months in the spring/summer (Feb-July). We have been practicing 3 times a week and will start playing tournaments in a few weeks through October or early November.... then pick back up in February.

How about this? There are 4 coaches/trainers on our staff this year for six months. The coaches are well versed and well connected in the baseball community. We even allow the parents to pay monthly. We guarantee 120 hours of our time for only $1,000 a kid, excluding game fees and insurance. At $8.33 an hour for 4 good coaches/trainers, we still have parents slow to pay! How about those apples?

This is a tuff subject what are you paying for coaches, training,or business or greed. Some new start up it depends on price , but most team pay about 2500 a year to the coach,

So roughly 1,500 to play all season? What about meals and travel expenses to tournaments? Do all the coaches show up for all the games?
Just curious

The number of hours is a minimum. Based on 10 players at $1,500 each on the 14u level does not cover all expenses. Last year we played 14 tournaments and practiced at least twice a week from December through July. This year we plan to play 10 to 12 tournaments and practice at least twice a week. Two of the coaches are at all games, barring any family emergencies, which does happen maybe once a year. Since my last post, I received news that another coach will come aboard too. Every coach has experience in baseball professionally or on the college level.

I don't know what teams you're speaking of, but on 14u, I personally know 5 coaches that get more than that. I've also been asked what it will take for me to leave my current teams and coach 2 other teams. The amount they agreed with me on is way more than 2,500 for the year.
